PHYSICS TYPE REPORT

1. Most of the mass of the Singapore flyer is located at the two biggest poles at the centre of the flyer which is the pivot to move the flyer. The poles lead up to the centre of the circular shape of the flyer. That is the most important part in stabilizing the whole structure. This is due to the laws of centre of gravity. The centre of gravity of an object is defined as the point through which its whole weight appears to act for any orientation of the object. An object’s weight pushes downward towards the ground due to gravity. When an object is pivoted at a corner this would cause a turning effect or it will be tipped over. However if you put the pivot at the centre of the object, it will be more stabilized. There is a force to force action and the pivot must be a perpendicular angle towards the object.

2. Compared to the stop and start technique, for the flyer to turn continuously is much better. Stopping and starting would require much more electricity and the greenhouse gas produced to form electricity might increase, contributing to global warming. The second way is an object with mass is reluctant to change its state of rest or motion. This is called inertia. When the flyer stops and start to let people get in and out, there would be an unpleasant jerk in all the capsules and people might not enjoy that. If the capsule stops the people that has mass, planted on the floor, would lean forward. Same as when the flyer starts.

What i have done this weeks (4)

As most of us know that this week was the last week of june holiday. We had to go back to school after this week. I think most of us would think why cant the school holiday be longer? But i think that if the school holiday was longer the before, we cant perpare for the end of year exam. There will not be enough time for us and for the teacher to perpare all the subject for the last exam of this year. Also, i belive that others would be happy when school reopen as we could be able to meet our friends agains.As some of us hate to go school to study as they have not finish their holiday homeworks. I hope everyone could work hard and pass their exam with flying colours. Also, i hope i could be a happy young boy. I had done alot houseworks as my mum was not feeling well.That all for this week.Hope you can give me some conments.Have a nice day and good bye.

What i have done this weeks (3)

This week... i had done alot new things and learn alot new skill from the seconday 1 NPCC camp. I learn how to teach them to cook the food and also, i found new friends in the seconday 1. I hope next year we could help up to set up all the items and play together with them. In this camp, i learn how set up the camp inorder to make the camp a happy ending as this was a challen to us. To make the camp a happy ending, is need alot people to help up to perpare all the activities. Also, i wish the camp in next year will be better then this as most of the sec 1 was not active at all. Most of us tried to made them be active like us and have fun in this camp but they did not make it. I hope this wont happen next year.This year, NPCC got the 2 best male and female camper in the sec 2 camp ;that me and carmen. I wish next year the sec 2 camper will get his 2 award back to our school again. This could make our school NPCC proud of it as about 10 years, our NPCC member did not came back with a best camper.That all for this week, see u all next week =x

What i have done this weeks (2)

Hello , we meet again. This week i had done alot things, The first thing i wanted to tell you all was that i got the best male camper in the NPCC ATC CAMP. At that time, i was shock and did not know what to do the next step. Next i wanted to congrate our school get both the best male and female camper at this camp. This was the first time that our school get both best male and female camper together. i wanted to thank everyone who helped me and also, i wanted to thank the officer that vote for me to be the best male camper. Next, when i came back from camp , i sleep the whole day long when i woke up on monday, i was not feeling well, so i did not turn up for the math. I also never go for the CIP because my sickness was just get well so i did not go. Untill now, i did alot new thing and learn alot living skill in the ATC camp . I hope this camp wont end so that i could be one of the helper in the few years time.Hope u all enjoy this whole week and the rest of your life.Have a nice day to you all.

What have i done this week

As u all know.. now was schools holiday for most of then seconday schools as well as me. I have done alot things this week like studying , playing games , chatting with friends and a lot more... In this tuesday.. most of the secondary 2 students had to went to school for a chinese camp... i went there as well as other.. we all have alot fun between the few hours we spent at that time. I hope this programe could let secondary 3 to join in as we could join in the fun as others.. We learn alot new skill like speaking good chinese , cutting paper , making current bum and others. At that time , i feel very happy as we could learn other people culture , how the games came from and how to play the games.
On this friday i have a NPCC camp which was organise by our teachers. I packed my bag and bring all the things that i need for the camp. I was very sad as i cant play the computer untill this sunday. Also , i think that this camp will satified me as most of the upper secondary NPCC member said that this camp was fun and we could learn also new skill in our daily life ; if we never go there , we would regret.. Hello everyone... ,my name is Heng Yong Phong , i'm 14 this year.... i live in ang mo kio which was 1 part in singapore... my hobbie is colleting easer... i like to play basketball when i was in pri school but when i go to sec school... this school did not have basketball team so i join npcc... most of my pri school friends goes to different school but we meet together once per month.... i have 5 family member... they are my mother , father , sister ,brother and last is me .
i have alot friends in school... we alway having fun together for the pass 1 year.... i know them when i was in sec 1... at first, i did not know 1 of them as we were very new with them... slowly , we get closer and closer and become brother as we all help each other when there was troblem with us and also , we care about each other... The pass one year in sec school... i know the rule in school and also , i know what i should do and what i should not do .
i like my school very much as it was the place that made me grow up . Also , i like my country because this place is my home .
